Amber Bullock – BET Sunday Best Season 4 Winner

Amber Bullock – BET Sunday Best Season 4 – Is burning up the gospel charts, as her freshman CD, Thank You, was released in December, 2011, on Mathew Knowles’ Music World Gospel label.  It has since then gone on to perk at #1 on Billboard’s Top Gospel Albums chart. Thank You has been featured the Top 10 Billboard. The accolades just continue, she has toured with Kirk Franklyn and continues to perform across the globe.  Did we mention this is Amber’s first CD?  Amber stopped by The Certain Ones Online Radio Show, to share her testimony and offer some words of inspiration.  Enjoy our interview below!

The Certain Ones: What was her inspiration to audition for BET’s Sunday Best?

Amber Bullock: “I was staying at a friend’s house sleeping on the floor. I was away from my daughter and just didn’t have anything to lose.”

The Certain Ones: Was there any inward struggles you had to deal with?

Amber Bullock: “I had to yeah get over myself. Because, I personally have always ran from being in the spotlight. It’s such a responsibility being up from…I had to tell God to do what He wants to do for me.”

The Certain Ones: “So in Love.”  Has the Caribbean vibe to it. It is definitely captivating. How did that come about for you? Well, anybody who knows me knows that I’m a huge PJ Morton fan. He is the son of Bishop Paul Morton. When they asked me who I wanted to work with he was the first person that I chose.”
