Mother’s Day Tribute
“Honor your father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;” Ephesians 6:2.
Mothers are teachers and leaders. They are pillars of strength and confidants, our connections to survival and learning. As the years quickly advances; their roles shifts. The relationships somehow morphs into that of friendship. As women- the dynamic is sharp in contrast to the adolescence stage; as now there are shared experiences and via those experiences; we can relate and understand the meaning behind their sometimes stern teachings. With the progression of time, we realistically discover that is what we have with each other: the gift of time. So we should always value and cherish them like the air we breathe and the water we drink to survive. We give tribute to all the wonderful Mothers who are making it happen in spite of life contending forces.
