My NEXT!

It has been said that the start of a New Year is like a clean piece of paper.  You have the opportunity to write on it and turn it into whatever YOU want.  It can become a letter, a memo, a picture or whatever you decide.  Yes, a New Year brings with it new changes, new challenges and new opportunities, each of which will have an impact on your life.  Likewise, every level in God comes with its own unique circumstances and challenges.  No, we haven’t traveled this way before.  But God has already mapped it out for us.  We are now in alignment with our assignment, so…..Let’s Go!

We survived a year that for many of us was life changing.  We experienced change that was both painful and productive.  We lost some things and we gained some things.  We lost some people and we connect with divine order to others.  Personally, I found MYSELF last year.  I found my voice.  I found a inner strength that I didn’t even realized I possessed.  I found the ability to say “No” and not feel bad about it.  I learned that there is a major difference between a “loss” and a “release.”  I learned that I can do whatever He assigned for me to do.

This first month of the New Year, I encourage you to stop for just a moment.  Take the time to truly look at the gifts and talents that the Father has given to you.  Take a good look at YOURSELF.  You are the “first fruit” of His creatures.  You are the unique part of His creation that carries His breath.  You carry His creative thoughts and powers.  You are truly awesome!  There is NO-THING that you cannot accomplish!

At this place on my Journey, I feel brand new.  Don’t you?  I feel as if I have brand new eyes and greater insight.  I feel a keener sense of discernment and connection to the Father.  My thoughts are new.  My walk is new.  I can now look at things that caused me pain and see the lesson therein.  Can’t you feel your newness?

As we continue on our Journey into this New Year, let us release the words and thoughts of what others think of us.  Keep it in the forefront of your mind that your Creator thinks that you are absolutely to die for!  He gave His most precious gift just for you!  Wow, does that make you feel special?

Walking forward into this newness with a new mindset anticipating all things new!
