Singer Tony Terry Advocates for Fibromyalgia

The Certain Ones Talk Show was grace with a visit from recording artist Tony Terry.Tony talked candidly with talk show host Vanessa Richardson about his wife discovery of Fibromyalgia and his upcoming musical release. According to webmd.com the Fibromyalgia syndrome affects the muscles and soft tissue. Fibromyalgia symptoms include chronic pain in the muscles, fatigue, sleep problems, and painful tender points or trigger points at certain parts of the body. Fibromyalgia pain and other symptoms can be relieved through medications, lifestyle changes, stress management, and other fibromyalgia treatment.

His Message

The Terry’s were recently named National Spokespersons’ for the National Fibromyalgia Association and they are now speaking to audiences across the nation about the debilitating condition. Terry is a dynamic public speaker and shares his story of life as a caregiver for his wife Ronnie who suffers from fibromyalgia. Terry has also performed the song “Remember the Love” which debuted during National Fibromyalgia Association Awareness Day. Terry dedicated the song to the over 10 million people affected by the condition.

Tony Terry was on tour with Roberta Flack in Japan, when his wife, Larondra Dison-Terry, was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. The R&B singer had never heard of Fibromyalgia before – but both partners knew how intensely the disease had already impacted them and their marriage of one year. After living with fibromyalgia for five years, The Terry’s felt the call to help create awareness about Fibromyalgia, and the important role that caregivers play in this battle.
