There are signs in our valley of decisions – Let God’s words propel your faith forward

Article by Vanessa Richardson

The signs are in our valley of decisions. Oftentimes, we allow our emotions to take the driver’s seat to our destinies. It can seem impossible, but you may control your actions in the almost extreme situations. Meditating on the Lord is learned and practiced behavior. To do this one must shutout internal and external noises. Patience and practice is required. This is how you will come to the realization of you whose and who you are. It opens up a door to improving your communication skills with the Lord. You do not have to put up a fight — just listen and hear the answer since it is clear. It is calling you. Do not reside in the land of settling and complacency. Make happiness your homestead, allow patience to be your guide, and God your Teacher. These are the magnets that shall draw you to nirvana. The ideal job is out there for you. The ideal mate, ladies, will find you. Men, your soul mate is waiting for you to discover her. She’s waiting for you to reach and obtain your set goals.

She awaits you as you battle insecurities, self-doubts, and financial difficulties. She awaits you as she plans the layout of her house. The home will be chosen once you and she unite. Morphing her from lady-in-waiting to “who takes this lady?” Once she is married, her house is now a home. Her name has been changed from single status to Mrs. Status. Wear his ring, girl. Wear his name, girl. He is the one. He is your King and you are his Queen.

You are soaring now. In addition, this is the confidence that we have in Him that if we ask for anything according to His will, He hears us: And if we know that He hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him (1 John 5:14-15, author’s translation).

Allow those words to become your song of faith, and revitalize your faith. When contending forces arise, quote God’s divine words in the Bible, and not once will they fail you. It is timing, we find ourselves most grappling with. Allow God’s words to propel your faith in the bleakest moments in your lives. Even with the situations still before you, become strengthened with the belief that your prayers shall not go unheard. This was the confidence I had, as I knew it was His will for me to have the things I was professing.

Know that God is not a respecter of persons. He loves us all. There are many levels on our life journey. Just to name a few: education, speaking, singing, and faith. Certain ones can endure more than others do. Job’s experience in the Bible is a wonderful example. It is in our endurance stage where the questions often arise. God, do you love me? Have you forgotten me? The misplaced feeling arises. Allow me to encourage you. You are not alone. God is with you. You may not feel Him at the moment or see Him. Nonetheless, He is there. He is on call twenty-four hours. He sees and hears your heart. How can He not? You are His.
