The Unlikely Remnant by Tracey Michae’l Lewis-Giggetts

UnlikelyRemnant

I enjoyed the journey! I was transported to another time and place via the intricate characters Tracey Michae’l Lewis-Giggetts introduces us to in “The Unlikely Remnant”. The title is befitting. The Rapture and the theory of who will be left behind has been an age old discussion, one in which Tracey handles with care and deep insight. “The Unlikely Remnant” is thought provoking and soul searching.

Mother Faye, Chad, Bishop Jeremiah Hampton and Rosa were left behind after the rapture. Four very different people are trapped in a historical church in North Philadelphia; after the rapture takes place. The primary discussion and focus is that: “they were all right with God and that they should have been taken.” Although different and hailing from various walks of life; they will find that they are all connected in some way. Their conversation will become heated at certain times; being trapped they are forced to deal with deep spiritual and emotional issues that has plaguing them for years.

I had the opportunity to interview author on The Certain Ones Talk Show and was able to learn a little bit more about the layered characters in the “The Unlikely Remnant” .
