What In HELL Do You Want?

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who prospers us in every area of our lives. I pray that this magazine article finds you and your family blessed and in perfect health. The doors are wide open for you this year. All you have to do is believe it, receive it, and walk through it. Favor is available to you. Prosperity, opportunities, success…they’re all available to you. The doors are wide open and as the righteousness of God, you can walk through them. Or will you let fear, doubt, and unbelief stop you? Will you let low self-esteem and unworthiness keep you from walking through? Go and get what’s rightfully yours!

 DOOR OF CHOICE

Did you know that the devil has certain doors open for you as well? The devil has a door just like God has a door. The question is, “Which door will you go through?”

Behind God’s door—you have everything that you need. Behind God’s door you have total peace, where you’ll be complete and whole in Jesus’ name. Behind His door you have perfect restoration. When you walk through His door He considers everything. Nothing is ignored or omitted. Nothing’s missing, broken, or taken away from your life. Everything’s counted, weighed, and measured. You will not lack any good thing (Psalm 34:10). You’ll be flooded with healing, prosperity, a blessed marriage, a successful family, faith, etc.                 

Behind the devil’s door—you will lack and be in want. Behind this door you are constantly without. When you walk through satan’s door you’ll be ignored, rejected, despised, and neglected. You will surely have a broken heart. You will be flooded with poverty, lack, sickness, marital problems, family problems, fear, etc.

So, once again I ask, “Which door will you go through?” Just like many of us, for years you’ve been going through the devil’s door, accepting what he has for you. Isn’t it time for you to close the door on the devil and go through God’s door? Isn’t it time to accept everything that your Father has for you? Besides, you don’t have to be a prophet, be filled with the Holy Ghost, and speak in tongues to figure out that anything that’s behind the devil’s door is not good for you. Think about it. What does the devil have that you want? Sure, the devil makes it tempting and he makes you think that you’re getting something good. But I guarantee you that whatever it is—it’s designed to make you fall.

 DOOR OF DECEPTION

 The same thing happened with the first man and woman, Adam and Eve. They had walked through God’s door. They were complete, whole, and lacking nothing. They were at the highest level of prosperity. But God gave them a commandment.

 “And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat;  but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”  Genesis 2:16-17

 The tree of the knowledge of good and evil was the devil’s door. And God told Adam and Eve that if they enter through that door they will “surely die.” The devil was very cunning and began questioning Adam and Eve about what God said. The devil said to them, “You will not surely die. For God know that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”  This was total deception from the devil. First, he lied about them not dying if they ate the fruit. Second, he made them think that God was hiding something from them. The devil wanted them to believe that if they entered through the door he had, then their eyes would be opened to it. Third, he said if they entered his door they would be like God. The truth of the matter is—they were already like God. Read the verse below:

 “Then God said, ‘Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness…”  Genesis 1:26

DOOR OF AUTHORITY

 Let’s look at what happened after the devil tempted them to walk through his door:

 “When the Woman saw that the tree looked like good eating and realized what she would get out of it—she’d know everything!—she took and ate the fruit and then gave some to her husband, and he ate.”  Genesis 3:6 MSG

Adam was right there with Eve. I always thought Adam was far away and Eve went and got him. But the Word of God says that Adam was right there and let the devil deceive them. Rather than taking authority over the devil, he decided to walk through the devil’s door. And because of that choice sin ruled in man’s life, along with death and hell.

DOOR OF LIFE

But God sent Jesus so that man can re-enter God’s door—to get back to where he was. Righteousness is a door and Jesus is the Key. So when you received Christ, you unlocked the pathway to Life. God has so much for you! He’s opened the door to His fulfillment and promises. And once again, satan has a door available to you as well. The devil’s door is open for everything that he has for you. What in hell do you want? Will you fall for the same deception Adam and Eve did? Or will you take authority and walk through God’s door with a heart of reception and expectation? The choice is yours.
